Dora's True Love

I have taken tons of photos this weekend and this is by far my favorite. I took it at Dora's granddaughter's 15th birthday party. There is nothing special about this image, in the way I took the photo, or the way I processed it, rather what I saw through the lens. I saw the way that these two people love each other. They have been married for over 40 years and they still look at each other with such genuine love, respect and appreciation. This is the kind of love that I hope for my friends, for my family, and for my husband and myself. Here is to 40+ years of joy and love for all of us.

Delaney is One!

Sweet Delaney... At 11 months old had reconstructive heart surgery to repair 3 holes in her heart. Look at her now. Celebrating her first birthday! Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Jenny's Prom

Oh to be 18 again... I had a great time with Jenny and her mother Lidia. I was told that Jenny had a great time at prom with her date. It also was a peek into the future for me. At least I have 5 more years until Avery will be going :)

Aubree is One!

Avery and I had so much fun with Aubree. She is one of he HAPPIEST babies :)

This was so much fun! Tierney is the sweetest girl! She has the most compelling eyes, so it was easy to snap such a pretty shot :) My friend Missy Baitx did an awesome job on makeup. Thanks Missy :)

Baby Blues

I took this photo a while ago. But as I was gathering my portfolio images, I found these gems.

This was the sweetest baby. You just wanted to give her a smooch. She was such a shy one, hard to coax a smile, but I managed to get a few before "she was done with me" lol. These images also reminded me that I need to take out that 85 lens and shoot with it more often.
